Wallace lake is part of Cleveland, Ohio's Metroparks system. It is an old historical sandstone quarry. Many of the grinding stones were made here before it was flooded. I have'nt fished it for about ten years so I have to re-evaluate the structure and water and such. Fished it for about half of the day and it got really hot. Spotted bass along the shoreline. This lake runs from 2' to 54' deep. I'll be reporting more on it in the future because it is about 15 minutes from where I live. I want to take my 8' Pelican pontoon down there.
Went back down to Wallace Lake this morning. Caught one small largemouth just under 12" and got chased out by a downpour of rain. I'm going to keep fishing this lake like I said. It is going to take a few trips to get some patterns down again.
The ranking score is used to determine how "popular" a trip or location is. It is calculated based off of a weighted average of the number of reviews and the user ratings. For example, a trip with 2 reviews and an average rating of 5 will have a lower "ranking score" than one with 10 reviews and an average rating of 4. This is because even though the first trip has a better average rating, it has not been reviewed as much as the second trip, so it is not as "popular". In the future we may modify the ranking score to take in additional factors, such as the number of views, comments, and photos.
